Pedestrian dies after being struck by two cars - Quakers Hill

A pedestrian has died after being hit by two vehicles in Sydney’s northwest last month.

About 5.40pm on Sunday 17 May 2026, emergency services responded to reports that a pedestrian had been struck by two cars on Walker Street, Quakers Hill.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 56-year-old male pedestrian at the scene before he was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Officers from Riverstone Police Area Command were told that the man had been hit by two vehicles that were both travelling north bound.

The drivers of both vehicles were taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Police established a crime scene and specialist officers from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Yesterday (Sunday 28 June 2026), police were notified the man had died in hospital, where he had remained since the crash.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
