Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s north west.
Siang Tan, aged 88, was last seen in Marsfield, about 5pm yesterday (Monday 31 August 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Siang’s welfare as he lives with dementia and multiple health conditions.
He is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of slim build, with short grey hair.
Siang was last seen wearing a brown/black jacket, pants and shoes.
He is believed to be driving a blue 1990 Toyota Cressida, with NSW registration plates GDB34A.
Following inquiries, police believe Siang visited a petrol station on the Pacific Highway, Turramurra, about 5pm yesterday (Monday 31 August 2026).
He is known to frequent the Marsfield, Macquarie, and Eastwood areas.
