Taskforce Falcon detectives have charged a man they allege is a key player for a high-profile Organised Criminal Network (OCN), after he was arrested at Sydney International Airport yesterday.
Strike Force Devion was established in September 2026 to investigate the content of a Dedicated Encrypted Criminal Communications Device (DECCD), seized from a crime scene in Sydney’s northwest.
Detectives will allege when the device was forensically examined, it contained evidence of alleged criminal offences including conspiracies to commit murder, kidnappings and arson offences, as well as of multiple firearm supplies.
Following extensive inquiries, strike force detectives – with assistance from Australian Federal Police – arrested an 18-year-old man at Sydney International Airport about 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 October 2026).
He was taken to Mascot Police Station where he was charged with 10 offences,
He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 7 today (Wednesday 7 October 2026).
